I started my career installing VDSL, VoIP, and fiber connections for AT&T / Southwestern Bell — climbing into attics and crawl spaces, reading network diagrams, and learning to solve problems for customers who were rarely having a good day when they called. That's where I learned to stay calm under pressure and explain technical problems in plain language.
From there I moved into IT support at Metropolitan State University of Denver, supporting a high-volume computer lab used by students and faculty with wildly different levels of technical comfort. It taught me patience, and how to meet people where they are.
At SRS Acquiom, a help-desk role turned into something else almost by accident: I started administering the company's NetSuite instance alongside my support work, and kept getting pulled deeper into it — through roles as Applications Administrator, IT Help Desk Engineer, NetSuite Administrator, and Junior NetSuite Developer. Along the way I picked up SuiteScript, the SuiteCloud Development Framework, Workato integrations, and Agile delivery through SAFe and Kanban.
Consulting followed naturally — first at Limebox, then as a senior business developer and solutions consultant at Swyft ERP, working directly with Oracle's Partner Managers and clients across industries, and most recently as a Senior NetSuite Consultant at Active Cloud Solutions.
Today I run ERP Business Solutions LTDA, a Brazil-based technology practice that applies the same expertise to international clients remotely. I'm a dual U.S./Brazilian citizen, fluent in English and Portuguese, and I've spent fifteen years learning that the technology is only half the job — understanding the business behind it is the other half.
